5. Strict production as per standard, width of 600mm cooling pad involves 85 sheets; Raw material adopt imported kraft paper (100GSM, thickeness: 0.18-0.20mm, tension resistance at 70N, absorbability height as 45mm/10min, moisture at 5-8%, humidity at 18N).


matters needing attention
1. 2. Water quality
The pH value of circulating water is maintained between 6-9 (pure water with a pH value of 7). If the pH value is too high or too low, it will cause damage to the wet curtain; The calcium carbonate precipitation contained in hard water does not harm the wet curtain. It needs to be maintained within a limited range. If the concentration of sodium chloride (soft water) exceeds (or is approximately) 50000ppm, salt substances will precipitate on the wet curtain, reducing the airflow it passes through; The concentration of salt in circulating water must be within 50000ppm, and the concentration of salt in mixed water must be within 40000 ppm.
3.Clean
If the dust in the air tends to block the passage of airflow, the normal operation of the system can usually remove these obstacles. If necessary, low-pressure steam injection or gentle scrubbing can be used. Do not use chemicals such as chlorine or other pungent odors for cleaning.
4. Appropriate water level
Do not overflow the water in the system. If the water level is too high, the bottom of the wet curtain will remain immersed in water and become excessively filled, which will affect the self feeding system of the medium and shorten its service life.
5.Maintain drainage
As water continues to evaporate and new water is constantly replenished, salt and minerals are retained during the water cycle. To reduce the formation of sedimentation and scale, an automatic drainage device is required, as the drainage rate is 5% to 10% of the evaporation rate, which mainly depends on the hardness of the water and the level of air pollution. Under normal operating conditions, the drainage rate should be 20% of the maximum evaporation rate under poor conditions.
6.Make the water evenly distributed on the Cooling Pad
Control the water supply by adjusting the water pump. Clean the water tank, water pump inlet, filter, and water pipe, etc. Clean the dirt inside each water circulation system.
7.Annual shutdown
At the end of each quarter, drain all water pumps, sinks, storage rooms, and wet curtains. If there is residual water in the system, it will accumulate, precipitate, and produce algae. When used again next time, it will block the holes in the water pump, water distribution pipe, and wet curtain.


Routine maintenance

2. Cooling Pad cleaning
Remove scale and algae from the surface of the Cooling Pad. After thoroughly drying the Cooling Pad, use a soft bristled brush to gently brush up and down, avoiding horizontal brushing. (You can first brush a portion to check if the Cooling Pad can withstand brushing.) Then only start the water supply system and rinse the surface of the Cooling Pad of scale and algae. (Avoid washing Cooling Pad with steam or high-pressure water).
3.Mouse pest control
In the season when Cooling Pad are not used, rodent control nets can be installed or rodenticides can be sprayed under the Cooling Pad.
4.Cleaning of spray pipes
Open the screw plugs at both ends, insert a rubber hose with an outer diameter of about 25, and connect the other end to tap water for rinsing.
5.If the water pump is not used for a period of time, it should be placed in clean water, powered on for 5 minutes, cleaned of mud inside and outside the pump, and then wiped dry to remove rust proof oil and placed in a ventilated and dry place
